That’s me!
I’ve got a whimsical sense of humor and a background in radio, television, film, and stage. Since I was a kid, I’ve written and voiced all kinds of stuff! Funny bits, straight commercials, narration - you name it, I’ve probably done it.
The project I’m most proud of is a volunteer reading program I ran. For over 15 years I read books in elementary school classrooms, reaching over 450 students a week! The books I chose were level appropriate for each grade, progressing to higher levels as the year went on. Naturally, each character in the story had their own voice! Through an fairly unscientific study, we found that kids who were read to throughout their school career saw their ELA scores improved over their peers by more than 12 percent.*

*Teachers compared test scores from previous years before the program began to scores while the program ran. This was done for the first two years, which satisfied the school administration.
